A client request for somewhere to store books and the occasional wine glass in a bedroom where space for side tables was limited. Made by laminating 20 plus pieces of ply to form a single solid piece, which was then cut into two so the shelf could work as a single piece in a corner scenario [current scenario] or as two separate pieces on a straight wall [potential future scenario]. Items can be stored either directly on the surface or within the pockets created by the curves. LED lighting accentuates the curves at night, with the polycarbonate pocket inserts becoming lenses to diffuse the light.
